The Clarke County Convenience Center is located at 90 Quarry Road (Rt. 612) in the northeastern part of the county and is for Clarke County residents only. This facility is not for commercial use. The center accepts bagged household trash and unbagged recyclables. (See details below.) An attendant is on site to assist residents, maintain the site, and ensure residents comply with posted policies.
The facility is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays. Hours may change because of weather or other conditions. If use greatly increases, Clarke County may revise the schedule and open the facility on other weekdays.
The convenience center is closed:

The facility does not accept yard waste of any kind, including but not limited to grass clippings, leaves, brush, limbs, tree stumps, logs, Christmas trees, etc. All yard waste as well as hazardous waste, computers, major and small household appliances, a/c units, dehumidifiers, lawn equipment with fluids removed, auto batteries, propane tanks, indoor and outdoor furniture, shelving, mattresses, box springs, remodeling waste such as lumber, pipes, carpeting, etc., must be taken to the Frederick County Landfill.
Berryville provides trash pickup and recycling for residents and businesses within town limits.
